Mike Harlacher

Bio

Coach Harlacher is in his third year as Assistant Strength
and Conditioning Coach. Coach H, comes to Central with
decades of versatile experience that is utilized in the weight
room, on the field, and in the community. Coach Harlacher has
been a teacher for Pittsburgh Public Schools for 19 years, with
the last 17 years teaching math at Milliones University Prep in
Pittsburgh’s Hill District. He spent five years coaching football at
South Allegheny from 2007 to 2012, before stepping away from
the game and starting his family. Additionally, Coach H volunteers
for IFPAA Challenger division where he coaches, guides, and enjoys
time with adults with disabilities. He also has assisted his wife in
coaching North Hills Baseball and Softball for the 6U and 8U teams.
Coach H lives in West View with his wife Erin and their four children,
Mikey, Carmella, Will and Alice. When Coach H isn’t in the weight
room at Central, you can find him eating steak and eggs and writing
witty captions to his copious Tweets. Coach H considers himself a
BetterMaker, consistently working to make the world a better place,
any way possible.
