Jon Hale

Bio

Prior to arriving at Central Catholic, Coach Hale spent time coaching
at various schools. His most recent stop was at Seneca Valley
High School, where he coached wide receivers during the 2021
and 2022 seasons. During the 2019 and 2020 seasons, he was a
defensive backs coach at Pine-Richland High School. Prior to his time
at Pine-Richland, Jon served as the defensive coordinator at Beaver
Area High School from 2013-2018. In 2017, Beaver’s defense scored
a touchdown in six consecutive games (10 total TDs) on their way to
a WPIAL semifinal appearance. Before coaching at Beaver, Jon was an
assistant varsity football coach at Shenango High School for six years.
He has also served as an assistant basketball coach for a variety
of school districts. Coach Hale is a reading specialist for the Beaver
Valley Intermediate Unit. He resides in Beaver with his wife, Jane, and
two children, Sydney (21) and Xavier (12).
