Dave Haslett

Bio

This is Coach Haslett’s third year at Central Catholic. Prior to
coaching at Central Catholic, he spent time as an assistant coach
at various schools. Before joining the Vikings, he was the tight
ends coach at Seneca Valley. From 2020-2021, he was the offensive
coordinator at Allderdice High School. Prior to coaching at Allderdice,
Dave coached offensive line at West Allegheny High School (2019),
Bishop Canevin High School (2016-2018), Avonworth High School
(2015), and North Catholic High School (2012-2014). Before coaching
high school football, he was the Head Middle School Football Coach at
Northgate High School (2005-2011). Through his coaching journey he is
one of few coaches that have won a City League Championship, WPIAL
Championship and State Championship. Coach Haslett is a middle
school math teacher with Pittsburgh Public Schools. He lives in Ross
Township with his wife Karisa, and two girls, Aubrey (10), and Mia (7).
