Coleman Mazur

Bio

Coach Mazur is entering his third season as the defensive line coach with the Vikings. Coach Mazur resides in Ross Township with his wife, Julie and black lab Rooney. Coach works as a High School History Teacher with the North Hills School District. He is a 2011 graduate of North Hills High School and was a 3-year letterman on the football team. He then went out to earn a Bachelor of Arts History degree from Waynesburg University. While earning a degree from Waynesburg, he was a 3-year letterman as a Tight End. After graduating Waynesburg, he went on to earn a Master’s of Science in Special Education from Point Park University. Coach Mazur has been coaching since 2015. He spent 2015 – 2020 with the Pine-Richland Football program as the defensive line coach and special teams coordinator. Coach then went to Deer Lakes for the 2021 season as the defensive line and running backs coach. The 2022 season was spent at Seneca Valley as the defensive line coach. Throughout his career Coach Mazur was a part of 4 WPIAL championships and 2 PIAA championships. Coach also has 1 WPIAL baseball championship from his time as an assistant coach with North Hills High School.
